The volume control and low pass filter enable you to blend the bass from the subwoofer into the sound from your main speakers, while the phase control can compensate for subwoofer positioning, and the power mode turns auto standby on or off.

Setting up the Monoprice SW-15 is a simple plug and play process. You can use the RCA inputs to connect to a dedicated subwoofer output or to preamp outputs on your amp, or the speaker level inputs to connect to the speaker outputs if your amp lacks subwoofer or preamp outputs.
